Ad 2 CO

In my free time, I’m a board member of Ad 2 Colorado. The 32 and under segment of the Ad Club Colorado functions as a creative support system for students and young professionals. I’m the co-chair of the diversity committee. And I’m a white woman. But hey, inclusion needs advocates, especially in Colorado. Most recently, I oversaw and planned the event below. It was such a success, we’re already planning more events in the series!

NaNoWriMo

Every November, thousands of writers around the world challenge themselves to write a novel in a month. That’s 50,000 words in 30 days. My coworker and I took up the gauntlet and vlogged the whole thing. Spoiler alert: we both wrote books. Check it out for a month full of plot twists, breakdowns, and lots and lots of words.

The Galentine Collective

One day a friend and I were marveling at all the talented, creative women in our lives. And it seemed like many of us were having the same conversations, we were wishing we could find more ways to create together and fulfill something undefinable we were missing. So we decided to create a networking group of friends and peers in order to find opportunities for collaboration and connection. We kicked it off with a clothing swap (good for the planet, and good for our closets). And although 2020 threw a wrench in some of our plans, we’re still finding virtual ways to connect and share ideas.
